Angela is a staple of Cooper Young and Midtown Memphis with her awesome tattoo & body piercing studio, Underground Art. She has been in business for more than 18 years now, and is weathering even these tough economic times. Her shop has been voted Best Tattoo shop in the Memphis Flyer for the last 12 years straight, so if you want a tattoo or piercing, this is the place to go. She also supports various local groups (such as Friends for Life, WKNO and Memphis Roller Derby) by providing tattoo certificates for auctions/fundraisers. Her shop is a cool place with great art both inside and out, so even if you don't want a tattoo, you should stop by and check it out. When she's not running her business, she is always immersed in the arts in some way, whether it's writing or photographing, and she has even produced one local play.
